Our Heritage
Owner Floyd Harrington was born into the family furniture business. One of 13 children, he started working at Floyd Sr.’s furniture store in Atascadero at 14 and went on to manage the business, finally opening his own store, Harrington Home Furniture Outlet, in 2004.
Floyd Sr. was a furniture expert for over 50 years. He owned several different furniture stores across the Western U.S. before opening his store in Atascadero. He was not only a fixture in the furniture store but the community as well.
Today our business is family-owned and largely family-operated. Floyd and his wife Mollye continue to share the industry knowledge and integrity that’s still synonymous with the Harrington name.
